Why, who was that familiar-looking blonde jumping up on the bar at New York City hotspot Flaming Saddles—a gay cowboy bar? It just happened to be Grammy-nominated singer Cam, who was invited to hop up and delight the crowd with an unexpected rendition of her current single "Diane."

Flaming Saddles has a Western theme with bartenders entertaining the patrons with their dances on top of the bar; Cam did this protocol proud by shimmying her way through the tune. "Best night of my life," she termed it.

Based on the post she shared on Instagram Wednesday (May 9), it looked as if the 33-year-old star had a very good time indeed. "Dancing on a bar with gay cowboys to Diane. I felt like the Cinderella of Flaming Saddles," she enthused.

Cam is a dedicated LGBTQ activist, and just recently joined a new task force to better incorporate women and other marginalized groups into the organization and music industry.  Along with Sheryl Crow, she will be part of a task force working to create a more even playing field for underrepresented voices in music. The task force will examine the Academy's current policies, ranging from ground level operations all the way up to the awards ceremony itself and offer their insight into how to include create a more diverse and gender equal environment.
