Proposed Stewart’s Shop On Erie Blvd Rome Has Been Approved

The city of Rome is about to get another Stewart’s Shop convenience store and gas station on Erie Blvd West in Rome. The location for 506 Erie Blvd west has been approved by the city’s Zoning Board of Appeals and Planning Board.

According to the Rome Daily Sentinel, this shop will be a 3,696 square foot store with gas pumps at the corner of Jay Street and Erie Boulevard West.

The Planning Board voted unanimously to approve Stewart’s site plan at its Tuesday meeting. The vote was 4-0 with member Thomas Arcuri absent."

No word when construction will begin.
