After being stuck in quarantine for months on end, it's important to reconnect and get a romantic date night in when you can. Picking lavender under a beautiful New York sunset is the perfect way to end a day with the one you love.

Wickham Farms in Penfield, New York just outside of Rochester has extended their summer hours starting today to give visitors the perfect spot for a dreamy date night or family adventure, all with a picturesque sunset as a backdrop.

The farm is now open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 8:30 p.m., Fridays from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wickham is closed on Mondays.

Admission costs $10, and includes access to the lavender fields and all of the farm's barnyard activities. If you'd like to pick and bring home some lavender for yourself, that'll cost just $5 more. Wickham Farms also offers a variety of food options from its new menu.

Due to COVID-19 regulations, you'll probably want to reserve your spot at the farm in advance through Wickham's website. Admission will only be sold at the gates if online tickets are not sold out for that date.
