Seabreeze Unveils First-of-Its-Kind Water Attraction in the Northeast

There’s a brand-new reason to make a splash at Seabreeze Amusement Park, and it’s something you won’t find anywhere else in the Northeast.

Reef Runners, the park’s newest water attraction, is officially open and bringing a whole new level of family-friendly thrills to Rochester, New York.

This one-of-a-kind racing tube slide is the first attraction of its kind in the Northeast, combining speed, competition, and plenty of splash-filled fun.

A Race to the Finish Line

Standing 50 feet tall with more than 1,000 feet of slide, Reef Runners turns a traditional water ride into a full-on competition.

The attraction features two side-by-side slides, each designed for two riders on a figure-eight inner tube. That means families and friends can race together, launching at the same time and seeing who can make it to the bottom first.

What Makes Reef Runners Different?

Along the way, riders experience three unique rally points that add to the excitement, including:

• The Saucer: a high-speed element that sends riders racing through the action.
• The Hive: a high-G spiral feature that twists riders through a thrilling turn.
• Enclosed slide sections: adding surprise moments as riders race through covered sections before seeing the splash ahead.

Riders will fly through rushing currents, bank around curves, and finish with a splash in the run-out basin. It’s a side-by-side race where every second counts.

Who Can Ride Reef Runners?

Guests must meet a few requirements before taking on the Northeast’s newest racing water attraction:

• Minimum height: 42 inches
• Guests under 48 inches must ride with a responsible person
• Individual rider weight limit: 300 pounds
• Combined rider weight limit: 500 pounds
