Photos & Video Of Ilion's Steele's Creek Flooding

The blast of warm weather has caused flooding in several areas of CNY, and in Ilion crews are working to clear Steele's Creek of ice that is causing more flooding.

While residents of Witesboro are being encouraged to evacuate, Ilion is trying to avoid the same situation.

The photos and video below show the flooding, runoff, and Steele's Creek full of ice flows.

This all comes as the National Weather service has issued a Winter Storm Warning that is expected to bring freezing temperatures, snow and sleet to Central New York.

Meanwhile, many area schools have cancelled after school activities for Friday, and through the weekend in anticipation of the storm.
