Pedestrian Hit On Arterial In Utica

A pedestrian is in the hospital  this morning after being hit by a vehicle on the North-South Arterial late Tuesday night.

It happened shortly before midnight, police said.

The driver was headed northbound when the accident happened near Noyes Street. The Arterial was closed to traffic to allow for an accident reconstruction but has since re-opened, police tell WIBX.

The investigation is ongoing and no tickets have been issued at this time, police said.
