Utica’s Big Boom: July 4th Fireworks Over the Harbor
Utica Gears Up for Fourth of July Celebration at Harbor Point
The City of Utica is getting ready to light up the waterfront with its annual Fourth of July celebration at Harbor Point and the surrounding area.
The event is set for an evening packed with food, music, family activities, and, of course, fireworks over the harbor.

An Evening Packed With Activities
Festivities run from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and there’s something planned for just about everyone.
Visitors can expect food trucks and local vendors, live entertainment, kids’ activities, and a Touch-A-Truck display.

Taking the stage this year is Nervous Rex, bringing live music to keep the energy going right up until the fireworks show.

Fireworks Over the Harbor
The night wraps up with Utica’s annual fireworks display lighting up the sky over the harbor.

Whether you’re right at Harbor Point or watching from a nearby viewing spot, it’s one of those classic summer moments in the city.

Getting There and Getting Around
To help with parking and traffic, the city is offering free shuttle service throughout the event. Shuttles will run continuously between the Nexus Center parking lot and Harbor Point, making it easier for attendees to get in and out without the parking stress.
There are also free public parking areas, on-street parking options, shuttle pickup and drop-off spots, and alternate public viewing locations for the fireworks.

Full Night of Summer Fun
So whether you’re going for the food, the music, or just to catch the fireworks over the water, Utica’s Fourth of July celebration is shaping up to be a full night of summer fun.
