It's almost that time of year again - time for the Munson-Williams Proctor Arts Institute annual Sidewalk Arts Festival. The festival is 6 days of live music, antique autos, mural painting and of course the main attraction, the Sidewalk Art Show. It features 250 of the most beautiful and colorful works of art by local artists who live less than 50 miles from Utica. Festival visitors can vote on their favorite art works and awards will be given to an artist in each category.

Since 1939, the sidewalk art show has been one of the area's longest-running art exhibitions.

The festival is in front of the Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute, located at 310 Genesee Street. It's free and open to the public and runs from Tuesday, June 27 through Sunday, July 2,  10am - 9pm.
