Oswego Tornado
The National Weather Service confirmed an EF0 tornado with 85 MPH winds touched down in Oswego County at 3:25 PM on Wednesday, July 24.
"A short coherent path of broken tree limbs extended down an east-west oriented tributary of the Pennock Brook just to the southeast of Jackson Pond in the eastern portion of the Town of Orwell in Oswego County."
Tornado Two
The second twister was in the town of Broadalbin, in Fulton County.
An EF0 twister with 80 MPH winds touched down at 4:41 PM on Wednesday, July 24 in the backyard of Cerrero`s Cuts, before traveling across Route 29 and impacting a private home.
The National Weather Service said the convergent nature of the downed trees is consistent with a weak tornadic circulation. "The tornado continued to the north before dissipating beyond the private residence property boundary."
