Master Gardeners’ Herb and Flower Festival Returns June 18 – Ag Matters

It began in 1996 as a way to highlight the Herb Gardens at the Parker F. Scripture Botanical Garden. Now 20 years later, the Master Gardeners at Cornell Cooperative Extension have turned the annual Herb and Flower Festival into an educational and fun experience.

The 20th annual Herb & Flower Festival is June 18 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Oneida County Farm and Home Center on 121 Second Street in Oriskany.  Classes will cover many topics from honey to hops, ‘tried and true’ techniques to grow herbs, flowers, trees and shrubbery.  Plus more than 40 vendors featuring many of the top greenhouses, nurseries and farms in CNY.
