Local Corn Maze Returns For 17th Year Of Fall Fun

One of the coolest things about fall in Central New York is when local farmers transform their corn fields into intricate mazes for all of us to get lost and spooked out.

The Remsen Depot has announced the schedule for their 2017 Corn Maze, and if you haven't experienced their amazing mazes before, this is the year to do it.

The 6+ acre maze is located at The Remsen Depot at 10613 Depot Street in Remsen, and has a snack bar and gift shop.

Maze runners can even take a hay wagon to and from the maze.

The maze is open every Saturday and Sunday through Columbus Day.

Here's a schedule for 2017:

• September 23 Noon - 6 p.m.
• September 25 Noon - 5 p.m.
• September 28 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.
• September 30 Noon - 9 p.m.
• October 1  Noon - 5 p.m.
• October 6 6 p.m. -9 p.m.
• October 7 Noon - 9 p.m.
• October 8 Noon - 5 p.m.
• October 9 Noon - 5 p.m.

This year's maze theme is 'The Grassy Cow,' and you'll be able to see aerial photos of the newest maze as soon as it is completed at RemsenDepot.com.

Also, be sure to check their website often for special theme nights like flashlight nights where you bring your own flashlight and navigate the maze in the dark!
