Lee Center Firefighters Don Blue Suede Boots to Teach Rome Kids Fire Safety

Viva Lee Center Fire Department! You'll get all shook up over the whole lotta dancing going on by firefighters to teach Rome kids fire safety.

Lee Center firefighters used a little less conversation and a little more dancing in their blue suede boots to teach students at Stokes Elementary fire prevention.  Watch as they channel their inner King to show kids how to stop, drop and roll - 'Stomp your feet, cover your face, drop to the ground in that same place.'

Y'all ready for the this? The secret to help you make it through a fire? Firefighters used the Banana Boat Song to teach kids to Stay Low. Day-O!

The firefighters are getting ready to rumble again. This time for the community. There will be a presentation at the Lee Center Fire Department Saturday, November 10th. Everyone is asked to bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to local food pantries.
