J. Antonette grew up in Whitesboro, New York with dreams of being a singer. Today she makes her country music debut with 'Somewhere In the Middle.'

J. didn't begin her journey in the country music world even though she was country at heart and says she grew up listening to Big Frog 104. She actually got her start as a background singer for Melissa Etheridge. "Somewhere In The Middle is the song that really brought me home to my country roots and I'm so glad to be back," says J. "Capturing the songs gentle vulnerability in the video was very important to me. I was grateful that Director Derron Campbell and cast allowed me to not only co-produce and direct, but also make changes throughout filming to have the meaning of the song come through. For me, the lyrics in this song shows so much love, heart ache and hope. I feel like we really captured the purity of song through the video with a positive hopeless romantic ending and I'm really excited to share this."

'Somewhere in the Middle' is one of 5 songs on J. Antonette's 'Paper Trail' EP a project that began with J. spreading her wings. "On an irrationally rational whim, I decided to spend one month traveling Europe and left 3 days later. While on my whirlwind adventure, I realized I was leaving a paper trail of melodies and memories all the way back to New York. If you need me, find me on my paper trail.”

You can see J when she performs with ShowTime at the Boilermaker this Summer.
