Even though it doesn't seem fair, taller men often  get taller salaries.  I thought that you might want to take note of this info, and if you're not tall, maybe you start wearing lifts in your shoes!

"Tall men earn hundreds of dollars more a year than equally qualified guys of shorter stature, says a recent study. A difference of only two inches translated into an average annual salary boost of 1.5%, say researchers. For example, a man standing 6 feet tall could expect on average to earn $950 more a year than a man of average height, 5 foot 10, who does the exact same job. "The wage gain from an additional two inches is roughly equivalent to one year of on the job experience," says lead researcher Andrew Leigh, an economist at the Australian National University in Canberra. "Perhaps this has to do with perceived status, with people having greater respect for taller people that might inadvertently lead to higher wages. "
