Help Shower Rome Vet Who's Never Had a Birthday Party with Cards

A Rome veteran has never had a birthday party but you can help change that this year. Francis Connelly, a former Marine, turns 70 and you can join the mission to shower him with cards.

Julie Johnson has been Francis' hairdresser for more than a decade and has given him a birthday card for the past couple of years because she says he's never had a party and doesn't receive many gifts. "He always calls and thanks me because it’s usually the only one he gets," says Johnson.

This year, Johnson wants to give Francis a birthday to remember. "For his big 70, I would love to flood his mailbox with cards. I want to do this because his heart is huge and he deserves this and so much more."
