Help Eliminate Childhood Cancer with Whitesboro St Jude Walk September 14
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month and St Jude Children's Research Hospital hosts fun - run walks across the country. The group, Mohawk Valley for St Jude makes sure CNY is well represented with their own St Jude Walk September 14.
The St Jude Wal/Fun Run is September 14 at Whitesboro High School. It's open to all ages and is just $10 for age 6 and up, free for 5 and under. You can join an existing team or invite friends and family to create your own team.
If you're unable to attend the event, you can still help eliminate childhood cancers by making a donation online, it will be included as part of the Whitesboro Walk. All monies raised help St Jude continue their groundbreaking work in the fight against childhood cancers. A family never receives a bill from the hospital. All treatments, transportation to and from the Research Hospital, meals and housing are covered through your generous donations.
