A good Samaritan shared his lunch with a homeless man in Syracuse, proving Central New York is full of good people.

I didn't do it for recognition. I did it because it was the right thing to do

Hundreds of people lined the streets before the Luke Bryan concert in Syracuse. Among the throng was Scott Wright who noticed a homeless man collecting bottles and cans. After enjoying a pizza with his friends, Wright says they decided to give it away. "We couldn't eat it all and rather than throwing the pizza away, we wanted to give it to the man we noticed walking up and down the street."

The man quietly thanked Wright, walked down the street to find a spot to sit and ate his lunch. "I didn't do it for recognition. I did it because it was the right thing to do," says Wright.

You often hear of random acts of kindness but it's rare to see it happen. I don't know what was better, watching Wright give the man the pizza or his reaction to receiving it.
