Christmas holiday travel continues for at least one more day and it may come with some slippery slopes.  The National Weather Service has issued a freezing rain advisory for mid-morning to early afternoon today (12/26).  

Temperatures will slowly warm to near 40 today.  But the transition from below-to-above freezing has an advisory for light freezing drizzle and scattered freezing rain in effect until 4 PM.

* Locations: Southern Tug Hill Plateau, Western Mohawk Valley, Otsego County, The Western Catskills and Pocono Mountain Regions

* Timing: Late this morning until mid afternoon.  (think 11 AM - 4 PM)

* Impacts: A light glaze could develop on untreated roads and sidewalks.

* Temperatures: Temps will rise above freezing by mid afternoon
