‘Escape At Danemorra’ Set to Debut On Showtime
Ben Stiller's drama about the 2015 prison break in New York's North Country has gotten a release date from Showtime. Here's when you can relive the prison break-out that lead to a weeks-long manhunt.
Escape at Dannemora will be an 8-hour limited series on Showtime according to Deadline.com. That means we can probably expect eight one-hour-long episodes.
The show is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, November 18 at 10 p.m. and will have some star power behind it besides Stiller.
Benicio del Toro(Guardians of the Galaxy, The Usual Suspects) will play convicted cop-killer Richard Matt, and Paul Dano(There Will Be Blood, Little Miss Sunshine) will play his accomplice David Sweat.
Sweat on the left, Matt on the right.
Patricia Arquette(Boyhood, True Romance) will play Tilly Mitchell, the prison tailor shop supervisor who became sexually involved with Sweat and Matt and eventually helped the men escape.
