Dave Wheeler’s Daughter Turns One

Honestly, this past year has been one heck of an adventure. My daughter Avery was born on April 20th 2016. Today, she turns one!

It's been one amazing journey this past year becoming a parent. Watching Avery grow each and every day, watching her smile, and watching her grow, has been truly incredible.

Being a parent isn't always easy. There's been times in the store dealing with diaper blowouts, her bottle spills all over the place and that was the last bottle you had on the road. Being a parent is never easy, but it's truly rewarding.

We celebrated her birthday by taking her for her first cup of frozen yogurt, and we are happy to report she loved every second of it.

There is no greater feeling I get every day than coming home to see my wife, and picking up Avery and seeing her smile and laugh. She calls me Da Da now, and always says hi. There was a few months where I wouldn't see her at the end of the day, due to her crazy sleep schedule. However, I'm proud to report that I'm able to hold and love her up every afternoon when I get home.

This summer Sarah and I are looking forward to the birth of our son. Avery will become a big sister this summer! We can't believe how much shes grown, and this is truly the fun times. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.
