A Clinton girl is helping the kids at St Jude Children's Research Hospital by taking lemons and making lemonade.

Hannah Burdick wanted to have a lemonade stand. "I told her it was something she could do but what would she do with the money she made," says mom Mary. "She wasn’t sure so I told her about the Golfing Without Golf Clubs event to raise money for St. Jude. Then told her about who goes to St. Jude and why."

After hearing about the kids battling cancer and the help they receive from St Jude, Hannah knew what she wanted to do. "She said yes, I want to give the money to the kids at St. Jude."

Hannah, her good friend Brady and her little brother Jared, set up a lemonade stand on Kirkland Ave in Clinton at a friend’s place while the Clinton Art and Music Fest was going on. "The kids made nearly $120.00."

We suggested Hannah use the money she raised to buy raffle tickets at the golf outing without golf clubs October 5th at Heron Creek Golf Course. That way she could win prizes for all her hard work for St Jude.

If you'd like to donate a raffle prize, sponsor a hole for $100 or sign up to play in the outing for $65, email Polly@BigFrog104.com.
