Up and coming star Chelsea Cavanaugh performed at her first FrogFest at the Herkimer County Fairgrounds.  And if you ask me, she can come back anytime.  Especially after bringing a gift!  Thanks for the redneck goblet, which was a red solo cup on top of a candle holder.

Chelsea is only 17 years old and comes from the Albany area. Before hitting the FrogFest stage, she performed at Taste of Country Music Festival at Hunter Mountain. 'It was pretty awesome' she says, but the FrogFest 'crowd is awesome today and I'm so ready to rock it.'

Chelsea performed a few cover songs and her own music.  Her new song she wrote is called 'Original' and will be on a new album that she says will 'be out at the end of the month.'  The CD is untitled as of yet, 'I'm undecided on the title still but I have a few ideas.'

After FrogFest, Chelsea headed to open a show for Darius Rucker and Sheryl Crow.  Plus she'll be a busy girl all summer.  You can follow Chelsea on Twitter and Facebook to see where she's headed next.  She's headed to the big time if you ask me.  Remember the name Chelsea Cavanaugh. She'll on the country charts soon and hopefully back playing another show with us.

Chelsea even rode on the tractor Whites Farm Supply brought in for James Wesley to ride into FrogFest.
