Two girls are turning lemonade into relief for the four legged victims of Hurricane Harvey. Zowie and her cousin Amelia will be having a lemonade stand in Chadwicks to benefit the animals needing help in Texas.

Hurricane Harvey hit Texas leaving behind devastating flooding, displacing not only families but animals as well. "These girls want to make sure the animals in shelters have what they need," says Zowie's step-mom Jess Marie.

Stop on down to 3400 Oneida Street in Chadwicks Saturday, September 9th at 3pm to enjoy lemonade and tasty treats. "The girls will also be selling home made cookies," says Jess.

There's no prices. All the girls are asking for is a donation and pet food. "We will be accepting monetary donations as well as canned or dry food for cats and dogs, blankets and dog treats," says Jess. "We will also be accepting donations for families as well; water, non perishable items, clothes, blankets, over the counter medicine such as Tylenol, socks and underwear."

"The girls and myself want to thank everybody in advance from the bottom of our hearts."
