That's a lot of money for guessing an Oreo flavor. I'm thinking it's because the flavor is so obscure no one will ever guess it.

The Mystery Oreos hit store shelves Monday and has been a topic of debate since. The company knows these guessing games are difficult, so they're slowly releasing clues on their website. Here's the first clue:

Its name is stole

And history kept.

Perhaps from a creature

That lives on a steppe?

With that clue in mind, we thought we'd give it a try.

Tad thought it tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch and, although this would make an awful Oreo, I thought it tasted like a Nature Valley granola bar. As much as both of our guesses could be on-point flavor-wise, they don't make any sense in terms of Oreo's clue.

Thankfully the next clue comes out Monday and there are a total of eight clues. If you've tried the Mystery Oreos and think you know the flavor, submit your guess at mysteryoreo.com for your shot at $50,000.

And just for kicks (and some background of what they've concocted before): Oreo released their last mystery flavor about a year and a half ago, which ended up being Fruity Pebbles.
