Budgets Tighten As Gas Prices Rise

America's Research Group found that 33 percent of people polled in its survey are taking fewer trips to the store as the price of gas continues to soar.

And, as you can expect, because more money is needed at the pump, life's little luxuries are being reduced, too. 53 percent of people polled in the survey say they have cut out things like going out to eat.

In addition, 43 percent of those surveyed say they are not spending as much money on groceries because of the high price of gas.
