Baby Boomers Say Goodbye David

If you're a baby boomer, you probably remember sitting in the living room every week watching "The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet" on TV.  We did in our home, and now the last surviving member of the Nelson TV family, David is gone.

David Nelson(front, left in photo), the older of the two Nelson brothers of  "Ozzie & Harriet" fame has died at age 74.  David was the more serious of the two on camera, and it was brother Ricky who went on to a successful music career.  David appeared with his mom, dad and brother in "The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet" from 1949 on radio, then from 1952 - 1964 when the show moved to television.  David was quite athletic and learned the skills of a trapeze artist for the film "The Big Circus."  He appeared in several other motion pictures as well.
