More traffic accidents are reported to happen on a Friday than on any other day of the week, according a study done by the Accident Exchange.

As you can probably guess, the reason there are so many accidents on Friday is because people are daydreaming about how they are going to spend their Friday night and their plans over the weekend, says Steve Evans, an official with Accident Exchange.

Other findings from the study show that the majority of accidents that occur on the weekend happen between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. And, March, April and May are the months with the most car accidents because of the "bank holidays" and the better weather.
