A Tornado Didn’t Touch Down in Chittenango

Don't believe everything you read on Facebook. That picture of a tornado in Chittenango isn't real!

The tornado IS real but it touched down in Oklahoma NOT central New York. The picture came from CNN after a weekend twister in Comanche County, Oklahoma destroyed 2 homes, despite a Facebook post claiming it was in Chittenango.

Central New York did see plenty of damage from the strong winds, including downed trees and power lines. Check out the stunning pictures from the storm.
