The National Weather Service has confirmed that at least two tornadoes were formed as a large thunderstorm moved onshore from Lake Erie as it moved across Erie County.

NewYorkUpspate Reports that a 700-yard wide tornado, and a 500-yard wide tornado both hit the region and caused all sorts of damage. The first one traveled 5 miles, while the other traveled about 2 1/2 miles.

The storm ripped siding off of homes, picked up cars, and caused next to everything to scatter all over the region. Check out these photos and video from Twitter:
