We love our pets and take it from me, they are spoiled! But they can be a little costly.

Turns out where you live plays a big part in those costs.

WalletHub just released its 2026 report on the country’s most pet-friendly cities and the least costly ones too.

Paws up or Paws Down

As expected, you might want to pack your bags for somewhere in the Southwest or Florida. Scottsdale, Arizona took the crown as the most pet-friendly city in the country, closely followed by sunshine-filled Tampa, Las Vegas and Orlando.

On the flip side, New York City ranked least pet-friendly, and Buffalo wasn't much better, coming in at #97 out of 100.
