We Salute The King On Today’s Classic Double
As mentioned earlier by Matt Herkimer, Elvis Presley died on this day at age 42 in 1977. While many associate Elvis with “Rock & Roll”, and rightfully so, many of his pop hits were big country hits as well. Today, we’ll begin our “Country Classic Double” at 11:30 a.m. with “The King’s” number one country song in 1977, “Way Down”, and the last song released before his death.
Enter Elvis Presley as the first artist of today’s “Country Classic Double” in our Rewards Club for a chance to win tickets to Utica-Rome Speedway, and oil change from Burkhart Automotive and tickets to see Keith Urban at The Great New York State Fair in Syracuse.
