Toys R Us has caved to public pressure to stop selling 'Breaking Bad' action figures. They were pulled after a Florida mom's petition saw more than 9000 signatures.

First the toys disappeared from the Toys R Us website, then they faded from store shelves. When I went to the local store, all anyone could tell me was they didn't have the action figures. Any further questions had to go through corporate.  Sure enough, in the action figure aisle, the toys were nowhere to be found.

Susan Meyers, who started the petition, felt Toys R Us's 'decision to sell a Breaking Bad doll, complete with a detachable sack of cash and a bag of meth, alongside children’s toys is a dangerous deviation from their family friendly values.'

Breaking Bad actor Bryan Cranston was mad enough over the petition, he took action.

Others who supported the toys, started a petition to keep them on store shelves. 'It is NOT irresponsible to have these in the store. It is only irresponsible if they sell them to people they are not appropriate for.' That petition has over 6000 signatures. Not enough to convince Toys R Us to avoid pulling the toys.

'Let's just say, the action figures have taken an 'indefinite sabbatical,' said Toys R Us in a statement.

Cranston may know where the toys went.

Since the toys are no longer available at Toys R Us, they are selling for almost $100 on Amazon.
