This Sunday at SUNY PI (Formerly SUNY IT) is the 2nd Annual AK5K. This run/walk is a very special event that helps raise awareness of domestic violence and raises money for charities that were near and dear to Alexandra Kogut's heart.

If you would like to register to run or walk in the event visit www.ak5k.org. You can also register at 7 a.m. the morning of the race. Last year the even drew over 1,200 registrations and it will be even bigger this year. We will be on site to play some of the Best and Most Country for those that will be running or walking on the course. This is a great event for a great cause and you won't want to miss it.

If you are already registered for the race you can pick up your packets tomorrow from Tony's Pizzeria and Sports Bar, 3899 Oneida Street in Washington Mills from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. You can also pick them up at 7 a.m. on race day.
