It's a big weekend in central New York, with America's Greatest Heart Run & Walk on Saturday, and our sister station, WIBX's Heart Radiothon. And, many of us from Big Frog 104 will be a part of it.

It's Utica College Homecoming Weekend, and as my Alma mater, I'm looking forward to meeting up with old friends. Let me rephrase that, I'm looking forward to meeting up with friends I haven't seen in a while (none of us are old, I mean really). Whether you have a college, high school or even family reunion, there are some things they all have in common.
For the past several years, we Central New Yorkers have adopted Utica College (my alma mater) hockey teams as our own. Season after season, the Pioneers have packed them in at the Utica Memorial Auditorium, and now they'll have a chance to continue that for the next five years.
