SNL Pokes Fun at Brad Paisley & LL Cool J’s ‘Accidental Racist’ [VIDEO]

'Saturday Night Live' did a sketch this weekend about the controversy over Brad Paisley's 'Accidental Racist.' Kenan Thompson played LL Cool J and Jason Sudeikis played Brad Paisley. They came on 'Weekend Update' to announce racism was cured. They said they had started a conversation. As in, LL tells Brad not to follow him around a store, and Brad tells LL not to talk while they're watching a movie.

Jane Curtin Of SNL Fame 65 Today

If you go back to 1975, when "Saturday Night Live" debuted on NBC, you'll remember Jane Curtin, one of the original "Not Ready For Prime Time Players", best known for her anchor role on "Weekend Update". She's celebrating her 65th birthday today. Speaking of SNL, last week my wife and I vacationed in New York City and took the NBC Studio tour at 30 Rockefeller Center. One of the main attractions of the tour was going into the "Saturday Night Live" studio, the same studio used for SNL since it began.

The "Frog Days of Fall" are filled with new TV shows. Some last, others don't. One show that has lasted for the past 36 years is "Saturday Night Live" on NBC. In fact, the very first SNL debuted on this day, October 11, 1975 with comedian George Carlin as the first host.

Hank Jr.’s ‘Fox & Friends’ Interview Receives Saturday Night Live Parody [VIDEO]

Hank Williams Jr.'s infamous 'Fox & Friends' interview, where he compared President Obama to Hitler, attracted the attention of NBC's 'Saturday Night Live.'  In a skit, host Ben Stiller played Hank Jr's rep and blamed 'Fox & Friends' for the incident, saying calling Hank Jr. a political analyst was 'akin to giving a baby a gun.'  Hank even sang a new song to 'make things right.'  Well sort of.  Check out the SNL skit.

Live from New York, it's Lady Antebellum.

Lady Antebellum is excited to make their Saturday Night Live debut this weekend.Charles Kelly plans to soak up every minute of it.  He says 'it's such a historic moment for us as a band.  It definately feels like a mark of wow, we've made it.'  Dave Haywood tells CMT he considers the show 'the litmus test of who made it.'  He recalls as a kid, 'always staying up late' to watch, even if it meant breaking the rules at home.
