Not only did the New York Jets beat the then Baltimore Colts 16 - 7 in Super Bowl III becoming the first AFL team to win the big game, but Jets Quarterback Joe Namath guaranteed that they would win.

According to a Sports Illustrated report Ray Lewis was given a product containing banned substances to help heal his torn triceps muscle. Team officials claim Lewis has not tested positive for any banned substances and has denied using a banned substance.

ESPN is reporting Doug Marrone will leave Syracuse to coach the Buffalo Bills.  He replaces Chan Gailey who was fired at the end of the season. No official deal has been signed but league sources say Marrone's the man after interviews with former Chicago Bears coach Lovie Smith and Oregon's Chip Kelly.
