No, it's not a remake of the Jimmy Stewart classic but a celebration of Merle Haggards contribution to American culture. Merle will be featured in a two-hour CBS special "The Kennedy Center Honors" tonight at 9. The actual awards ceremony was held December 5th and featured performances from his pals Kris Kristofferson and Willie Nelson among others.
