Karen Klein is a 68-year-old school bus monitor for a school in Rochester, New York. She's in charge of making sure the kids are safe on the bus. But it also means she has to sit amongst the kids who are often brutally mean and obnoxious to her.
Earlier this week, she was viciously bullied by several kids who relentlessly called her names and ultimately brought her to tears. A difficult-to-watch 10-minute video was posted to YouTube and support for her is pouring in from the community, as well as from people around the country. She's being showered with support and gifts, and also praised for showing restraint. Her story is being told across the country as it should be.
