Parents with young kids post a lot of pictures of the children while my older friends post comments on the weather or their travels.A study by Stephen Wolfram found that Facebook topics do change with age. See if these age/topic correlations relate to you.
There's a funny thing about parents and technology. That being a majority of moms and dads are pretty tech unsavvy without the help of us internet-obsessed younger folk. And while parental struggles can be frustrating at times, their attempts to get in the techy loop are mostly just hilarious. This is particularly true with Facebook.

This week the Supreme Court is hearing arguments for Proposition 8, which banned gay marriage in California. They are also weighing the Defense of Marriage Act, which defines marriage as between a man and a woman.
To show their support for the LGBT community, people have been changing their profile pictures on Facebook. It started as big blocks of solid red. Then changed to a red block with a pink equal sign, which is symbol of the Human Rights Campaign. Now things have gotten a little out of control and some more creative options have popped up. Here are our favorites.
February 19, 2013 We've all heard the argument about who is and who isn't paying their fair share of taxes. The news report from UPI that Facebook does not owe anything in taxes and is getting a $429 million refund is bound to stoke the fires of those saying that tax loopholes for the very wealthy need to be re-examined. How could a company with pre-tax earnings of over $1 billion not owe any taxes? All legal it seems.
