It started early this year, October 22 to be exact, when TBS ran a "Home Improvement" episode called "Home For the Holidays" and the pace will be be picking up quickly starting this weekend. I'm talking about Christmas TV, specials, movies and holiday themed episodes of regularly scheduled shows. Not only will favorites like "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and "It's A Wonderful Life" return but, yes, "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" will pop up from time to time. You know it's fall when apple cider is in season, football is back, and the leaves on the Greg "Splashin'" McShea lawn need raking (I'll get to it, I'll get to it). And, you know it's fall when "It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" featuring the "Peanuts" gang starts showing up on TV. It was first broadcast in 1966 and has been on TV every year since. It's one of our favorite Halloween-themed TV shows.
