Stephen Colbert’s First Episode Of The Late Show Gets Premiere Date

The date for the first episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert has been announced. Here's what we know so far. 

PerezHilton.com is reporting that The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will officially begin on September 8th 2015. Nina Tassler, CBS entertainment president, excitedly announced the news on Monday, January 12th during the Television Critics Association's press tour:

"With an election year, it's going to be nice to have the smartest guy in the room on at 11:30 p.m."

Expect some major laughs this fall.
