Can it get any worse for Sears? Back in January, the struggling retailer announced it's first round of closings, now they plan on closing 20 more stores by mid-September.

According to Business Insider, the company made the announcement to store employees on Thursday. These round of closings bring the store count to 1,180, that's down from about 2,073 in 2012.

The 20 stores on the chopping block this time include three in New York...

4000 Jericho Turnpike East Northport, NY
601-635 Harry L. Drive, Johnson City, NY

The Sears location in Sangertown Square closed in June, 2016. Rome's Sears Outlet followed earlier this year.
