If at first you don't succeed, try again.  Jake Worthington returned to 'The Voice' after not making a team last season. This time, he had three coaches fighting to have him on their team after his beautiful rendition of the country classic 'Don't Close Your Eyes.'  Wisely, Jake chose to go with Blake Shelton.

Jake was the only member to make #TeamBlake during 'The Voice' premiere.  Shelton fought for the powerhouse singers, but continued to lose out to the other coaches.

Bria Kelly

Bria Kelly closed the show with a bang.  Not only did the 17 year old get a four chair turn, she had all four coaches on their feet.  Usher brought out his Grammy to win her over and it worked.  Kelly chose #TeamUsher.

Biff Gore

Biff Gore took us all to church with 'A Change is Gonna Come' and despite Blake's pleading for God's help, Gore also chose to be on #TeamUsher.

Christina Grimmie

Christina Grimmie kicked off 'The Voice' with a performance of Miley Cyrus' 'Wrecking Ball' that I thought was better than the original. Grimmie also had a four chair turn and picked to be on Adam Levine's team, to Blake's dismay.

The coaches opened the show, singing a medley of each others hits.

Shelton and Levine took over each others twitter accounts for the premiere and the tweets were just as good as the auditions. It's the first time Adam's tweets were more entertaining than Blake's.

The two night Voice premiere continues tonight on NBC at 8.  Let's hope Blake can step up his game or he'll lose out on all the great singers.
