Randy Jackson Is Leaving ‘American Idol’

Sounds like the American Idol shakeup rumors may be true.  After 12 seasons Randy Jackson is leaving.

The only original judge tells EOnline 'Yo! Yo! Yo! To put all of the speculation to the rest, after 12 years of judging on American Idol I have decided it is time to leave after this season. I am very proud of how we forever changed television and the music industry. It's been a life changing opportunity but I am looking forward to focusing on my company Dream Merchant 21 and other business ventures.'

His announcement comes days after rumors started about the show undergoing some major changes, with all judges being let go, including Keith Urban.  I don't think new judges will help the declining ratings. Although I do think it was long overdue for Randy to go.

I guess the only option left if they get rid of Keith, who was voted best judge in Idol history, is to watch The Voice and Blake Shelton's hilarity.
