Plan on Running in Utica’s 2011 Boilermaker? You Better Run to Sign Up

For the first time the Utica Boilermaker Road Race has a cap on the number of entries allowed. And that cap is reaching the limit.  Executive Director, Tim Reed says they are limiting registrations to 13-thousand for the 15k and 4-thousand for the 5k.   Entries for the 15k have already topped 10 thousand and about 25% of the 5k entries are filled.  Reed says he expects both events to be filled in the next couple of weeks.  So far entries have come from 45 different states and eight countries.  

You can register online or by calling (315) 797-5838, but I wouldn't hesitate.  The Boilermaker is July 10 with the Boilermaker Expo July 8 and 9.
