A variety of Ag experts will present the annual Oneida County Crop Congress with Cornell Cooperative Extension .  From new crop varieties to new regulations and many things in between will be covered during the all day conference.  It's free and lunch is even provided.  Click for details.  

This year’s Crop Congress will be held at the VFW on Meadow Street in Clinton from 9:30- 3:00 on Wednesday, January 4th. The topics that will be discussed include:

  • Changes in NYS DEC regulations
  • Analysis of crop costs
  • New corn rootworm biocontrol
  • Corn silage variety yield and quality results
  • Precision soil sampling
  • EC mapping as part of a nutrient management program
  • Low lignin alfalfa performance in a local field
  • Nozzle selection for various field applications
