NFL Week 13 – Tad Pole’s Picks

Week 12 was a wild one in the NFL and our Pro Football Pick'em contest  showed it. Only two contestants hit double digits in wins, and only a hand full of others had 9 right.  No surprise, I was a dismal 7-7.  A remider to be sure and select a total points scored number for the tiebreaker.  Mel B won week 12 when Billsmafia failed to select a score.

Week 13 may be another tough one as a lot teams with 5-6 records face off, and there's several re-matches on the schedule too.  Of course the week starts with 3 games on Thanksgiving day with the perennial Lions and Cowboys both in action. The Lions play the early game against Green Bay, followed by Dallas hosting Oakland at 4:30.  The Pittsburgh - Baltimore rematch kicks off at 8:30 just in time for the next piece of pie.

The Giants get a Thanksgiving break playing the Sunday nighter in Washington.  Big Blue should get back in the win column as Washington seems in disarray with chants of RG Me.  The Bills should come off the bye week with a win as they host Atlanta. It's tough to pick a dome team when they're on the road in a cold air outdoor stadium.  Actually it's hard to pick Atlanta at practice.  And I'll take the Jets to beat Miami, frankly these two teams do the opposite of whatever I pick so the game most likely will end in a tie.
