While celebrating our anniversary in the Poconos, the resort held a daily deer feeding. The man stood at the bottom of hill and called to the deer. Out of the woods they came, walking across the road, running down the hill. Some even ate right out of his hand.

I've heard of calling the dog. I've even seen some cats come when called. But deer? They were everywhere. That is, until the buck appeared and the doe scattered. It was the longest I've been quiet and I loved every minute of it.
