Tad and Polly Head To the Poconos

It's hard to believe we've been married 10 years. In this episode of Married With Microphones we head to the Poconos to celebrate.

Only a 3 hour drive away, we found a resort for a nice weekend getaway, heart shaped hot tub and all.

There were a number of things to do during the day, throughout the resort. An indoor sports arena had everything from basketball and tennis to an arcade and indoor ice skating rink. Since Tad said he could 'skate circles around' me, I wanted proof. I'm still waiting. He should stick to swimming in the pond, rather than skating on it. Although his attempt will leave you with a smile.

There are few things Tad can't do. He usually beats me at whatever we do, so it was a nice change of pace to see him struggle.

There was daily entertainment scheduled, including bingo. I can't remember the last time I played. Of course, neither of us won any money, but we had a lot of fun.

At night, we laughed with the comedians and sang along to the tribute bands.

Despite it being cool outdoors, we had an enjoyable weekend. Anytime you can get away to spend quality time together, the weather shouldn't matter.
