Some people make their living off of preying on tourists in a big city. One hot dog vendor was caught attempting to sell $30 hot dogs/sausages to tourists at the Ground Zero site in New York.

NBC New York revealed a hot dog vendor was selling hot dogs and a drink at an extreme upcharge in hopes of snagging tourists who didn't know any better.

Granted, if you paid $30 willingly, you can't just blame the hot dog guy...blame your common sense.

The Daily Mail also adds that customers said the vendor would shortchange them after their purchase. Since the news broke, the man has been fired from the food cart company. The owner gave out free pretzels at the site, and is apologizing to tourists and New Yorkers.
